Mission Action Team

For 35 years, members of the Mission Action Team have used their hands and feet to serve the Church of Jesus Christ both locally and abroad.  They raise funds throughout the year to support their work weeks.  These work weeks consist of traveling to various locations and working on building and grounds projects.

Mission Action Work Week

One week every year, the entire congregation is invited to join the Mission Action Team in serving with their hands and feet at a ministry in need of building and grounds upkeep.  Such places include Annville, Kentucky; Astoria, New York; Camp Warwick, New York; and other church camps in western Michigan.  Work for all ages and skill abilities is always in full supply.

Making PIGS

Making PIGS (pigs-in-the-blanket) is one of the primary fundraisers for the Mission Action Team.  PIGS are made the second Monday of the month from October to May.  Everyone from the congregation is invited to participate.

Fair Booth

The Fair Booth is another Mission Action fundraiser that takes place during the Ottawa County Fair.  Food is served from the booth all day, every day at the fair.  Everyone from the congregation is invited to participate.
