Community Outreach
CarePortal
CarePortal is a technology platform connecting churches to children and families in crisis. This platform is one way we can tangibly help people in our community by providing families with items that you may already have and are willing to part with.
Hand2Hand
Through our Hand2Hand ministry, we provide children at Los Lagos Bilingual Academy facing hunger over the weekend by providing healthy food, so they have a greater opportunity to succeed academically, emotionally, and physically. This is done by delivering a bag of food to the lockers of the children enrolled in the ministry.
HOPE Quilt Ministry
Quilts are provided for various prayer needs, ranging from illness and crisis to surgery and ministry encouragement. They are given to people of all ages from infants to seniors. Anyone can request a quilt for themselves or for another person in need of prayer.
Kids Hope Mentoring Program
Through our Kids Hope USA (KHUSA) mentoring program, students at Los Lagos Bilingual Academy meet once a week for one hour with a trained mentor–someone who is there just for them. This one-on-one relationship with a caring and consistent adult in a student's life makes such a difference! North Holland Reformed Church has been a KHUSA partner since 1997!
Mission Action
Mission Action, a team of volunteers of all ages and abilities, has been giving their time and traveling through the United States to serve since 1973! This group strives to find worthy projects and family-friendly areas where people of all ages can learn how to give back to the world around us.
